Smoothie Recipe

Fruit Smoothie: Place all the ingredients in a blender or
food processor and process until smooth. If necessary, add more fruit juice
or crushed ice. Also, taste and add sugar if
needed. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Makes 1 - 2
servings.

Fruit Smoothie:
1 cup (150 grams) fresh or frozen
unsweetened fruit (strawberries,
raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, peaches, nectarines,
apricots, kiwi, cantaloupe, honeydew, papaya, pineapple, mango, and/or
orange segments)
1 fresh or frozen banana, cut into chunks
1 cup (200 grams) frozen sorbet or
sherbet
1/4 cup (70 grams) plain or flavored
yogurt
2 - 4 tablespoons fruit juice, add more
if necessary
crushed ice (optional)
